Michael Wolf - President

Kevin Wallace - President Elect

Kevin started Mission Financial in December '03 with 20 years of mortgage experience. Mission Financial offers expert advise on all residential mortgage transactions: Purchase, Refnance, Home Equity lines of credit or fixed rate second mortgages. Kevin has lived in Bartlett for 13 years with his wife and 3 children. He is originally from Griswold, Iowa (population 1100), and has a BA in Economics from Northwestern College (IA).
Ed Lacey - Vice President

Ed is President and owner of Healthy Wealthy Living a company focused on assisting individuals live a healthier and wealthier life. One aspect of the company is as a distributor for Xango a functional health beverage of the mangosteen juice. After retiring from the military in 1995 Ed moved to Bartlett with his wife Kathy in 1996 and has been active in the chamber since 1997. He was a director from 1998 to 1999 and was Business Member of the year for 2003. Ed is a retired Army Special Forces Major and is very active in community veteran organizations. He is the past Commander of the Bartlett American Legion Post 1212 and the current Commander of the Bartlett VFW Post 11018. He is also President of the Bartlett Veterans Memorial Foundation and the Chicago area Special Forces Association Chapter 37. Ed is a life member of the Ranger Association, the Special Forces Association, the American Legion and the Veteans of Foreign Wars. He received his BA from the University of Alabama.

I have a Home based agency that can help you with any travel plans ; Business, Leisure, Caribbean Vacations or Honeymoons. Travelling is my passion and I make sure my clients have all details taken care of before leaving home. I offer great value and service to every client. I served as President of the Chamber in 2002-2003 and was awarded Business Person of the Year in 2000. I currently am a director and serve as Past President of the Women's Business Council which we started in 2004.
Marie Palczewski - Director

Marie is the Vice President and co-owner of ASPAinc Computer Services. Marie has been a member of the BCC since 2002. Business Person of the year 2003 at SCC. She serves on the Board of Directors at Streamwood Kiwanis and is a Vice President of the Board at Emilia Plater Polish School. Marie is an active member and past president of the Bartlett Leads Group. Marie has MBA from Planning and Statistics University, Warsaw - Poland and has lived in Bartlett for the last 20 years. Marie enjoys time with a family and children and loves to travel.
Bill Schlunz - Director

Bill has been a Bartlett resident for 8 years and is active in the Leads To Business referral group. Bill offers credit card processing services to small & medium merchants. Three years ago he started his own independent agency, named DB Financial-BluePay. His twelve years of experience has taught him that old-fashion customer service and quality relationships are the keys to success.
Jane Schoemaker - Director

I have been with Harris for 19 years and relocated to the Bartlett location in May of 2006 as Bank Manager. Harris is a charter member of the Chamber and has a long history of supporting the Chamber and I am honored to continue with that tradition. I have also been a resident of Bartlett since 1989 and have appreciated the work the Chamber and the businesses have brought to our community.

I have been a Bartlett resident for 13 years and am the owner of Bark Avenue Daycamp; a doggie daycare, boarding, & training facility. Prior to opening my business, I was a financial analyst for an international technology corporation. I have a BA from DePaul University and a MBA from Keller Graduate School of Business. I have 1 daughter who is graduating in 2008 from Roosevelt University as an elementary teacher and a large close knit family who all live nearby.
Kathy Shangraw - Associate Director

Kathy Shangraw founded Clique Photography in 2005 with her husband, Mark. They specialize in artistic high school senior portraits, as well as create meaningful images that document the relationships shared by families, children, expectant mothers and newborns. Their artful imagery is exhibited in many local businesses, restaurants and shopping malls. Kathy has actively been involved with the Chamber’s Women’s Business Council for the past two years and currently serves as co-president. She has lived in Bartlett for seven years with Mark and their two daughters.

Steve Karoliussen - Park District

Steve Karoliussen is the Superintendent of Revenue Facilities for the Bartlett Park District. He joined the staff of the District in 1985 as superintendent of recreation and first became involved with the Chamber in 1988 helping with their street dance and Halloween events. In 1991 he was elected to the Chamber Board and served two years as vice president and has remained active on the Board ever since. He has been active in many programs that the chamber has offered over the years including some that newer members would not be familiar including the street banner program, golf outing, business expo at the centennial celebration, chamber vs. park district softball game and Halloween parade. Steve believes that one of the biggest rewards of being involved with the Chamber has been meeting and working with so many great people and organizations.
Paula Schumacher - Village Representative

Assistant Village Administrator Paula Schumacher has served on the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce Board since 1993 in the position of Village Representative. Maintaining a strong and positive relationship between the Chamber and the Village is a goal of both organizations and one that Paula tries to foster through her work with the Chamber Board of Directors. Over the years she has had the opportunity to be a part of many of the Chamber’s programs such as Summerfest, the Silent Auction and the Holiday Tree Lighting; but the best aspect of being involved in the Chamber of Commerce is meeting the fantastic people that make up this dynamic chamber.
Susan Westgate - Bartlett Library District Representative

Susan is the Assistant Director of the Bartlett Public Library District. She has been a Chamber Board representative since March 2006. As a Chamber Representative Susan has participated in a variety of Chamber activities; Tree Lighting Committee, Board Member of the Woman’s Business Council, Golf Outing volunteer and Scholarship judge. In addition, the library hosts all of the Chamber Board meetings through out the year. Susan has worked in public libraries for 18 years and is dedicated to promoting the library’s role and importance within a community as the place for information, recreation, growth and fulfillment of dreams.
Diane Hubberts - Executive Director

Diane has been with the Chamber since 1990, when there were 130 total members ( Membership is now up over 350!) Diane moved to Bartlett in 1978 with husband Jim, and they've raised their 3 sons here in town. Diane graduated from Loyola University with a business degree, and also completed the US Chamber's Institute for Organization Management.
