Michelle Sarwas - Chairman

I have been a Bartlett resident for 13 years and am the owner of Bark Avenue Daycamp; a doggie daycare, boarding, & training facility. Prior to opening my business, I was a financial analyst for an international technology corporation. I have a BA from DePaul University and a MBA from Keller Graduate School of Business. I have 1 daughter who is graduating in 2008 from Roosevelt University as an elementary teacher and a large close knit family who all live nearby.

Mark Mirsky - Chair-Elect/Treasurer

Mark Mirsky leads the Taxation and Management Advisory Services at ROI Business Services, LLC. His company provides expert tax, accounting, and business advisory services to a wide variety of individuals and businesses. Mark is a licensed CPA in Illinois, and he has a Master’s in Taxation from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is an active member in related professional societies, LeTip International, and the Bartlett Travel Soccer Club Board. Having been a resident of Bartlett for 10 years with his wife and two children, Mark joined the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce in 2010 shortly after opening a new office space near downtown Bartlett.

Jodi Davis - Director

I was born and raised in Bartlett. Currently I am an independent insurance agent for AFLAC. AFLAC is a voluntary insurance that pays cash directly to the policy holders, if they are sick, hurt or miss work. I enjoy being active with the Chamber and in the community. I am married and have 2 children .I have been a Chamber member since 2008 and on the board since 2009.

Kathy Shangraw - Director

Kathy Shangraw founded Clique Photography in 2005 with her husband, Mark. They specialize in artistic high school senior portraits, as well as create meaningful images that document the relationships shared by families, children, expectant mothers and newborns. Their artful imagery is exhibited in many local businesses, restaurants and shopping malls. She has lived in Bartlett for 10 years with Mark and their two daughters.

Jane Shoemaker - Director

I have been with Harris for 19 years and relocated to the Bartlett location in May of 2006 as Bank Manager. Harris is a charter member of the Chamber and has a long history of supporting the Chamber and I am honored to continue with that tradition. I have also been a resident of Bartlett since
1989 and have appreciated the work the Chamber and the businesses have brought to our community.

Bill Paton - Director

Bill Paton is a financial advisor with LPL Financial. He provides weatlth management services relating to retirement, education and business retirement planning. Bill is a CPA with a BSC in accounting from DePaul University and has worked in corporate finance for more than 20 years. He is an active member of the Boy Scouts of America and a Director of the Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts.

Dr. Kristina Gabrenya - Director

Dr. Kristina Gabrenya is a doctor of optometry and owner of Bartlett Vision, founded in 2005. Dr. Gabrenya serves patients of all ages and provides comprehensive eye care including vision health, glasses, contact lenses, and diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Gabrenya has practiced at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, in Chicago, and holds an adjunct faculty position at the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Gabrenya was born and raised in Bartlett and lives in Bartlett now with her husband, Bill, and two year old daughter, Grace. She is dedicated to volunteering in the community, running, triathlon and spending time with her family.

Mike Sobel - Director

Mike Sobel started Mark Your Space, Inc. in 2009. Mark Your Space specializes in brand management and increasing your marketing effectiveness by creating signage and marketing service that drive sales. Prior to Mark Your Space, Mike worked in the financial industry for twenty years. Seven of those years were spent in activities related to marketing for one of the world's largest banks. Mike graduated from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in 2006. Mike has three daughters and one grandson which he enjoys spending time with.

Lee Price - Associate Director

I have been in the remodeling and construction business for over twenty five years, specializing in residential remodeling and construction. After leaving Philadelphia to come to Bartlett , my son Justin continued to operate the family owned business and is currently working on several large remodeling projects in downtown Philadelphia. I have a bachelors degree in business from Georgia Southern University, and have gained many years of hands on experience needed to get the job done. I am extremely grateful for what the Chamber of Commerce has done for my business since joining, and hope to help others in the community by giving back my time as a board member for 2012.

Sue Chiodo - Associate Director

Sue is the President of Anderson Animal Shelter, a non-profit animal shelter for dogs, cats and other small animals, providing adoption services. Operating under a low-kill philosophy, dedicated to eliminating the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals, it is one of the most progressive Humane Societies of its kind, serving over 2,550 animals a year. Previously you may have seen Sue at many of the Bartlett Woman's Club events, where she was an active member for 4 years or as she supported the Chamber through event attendance and committee membership on Fundraising Committee, Annual Event, Golf and 2010 Summerfest - Best of Bartlett Taste-off. She can also be seen at many other events around town in support of Bartlett, its businesses and other civic organizations. Since her retirement from software sales management in 2002, her friends have nicknamed her, The Professional Volunteer.

Steve Karoliussen - Bartlett Park District Representative

Steve Karoliussen is the Superintendent of Revenue Facilities for the Bartlett Park District. He joined the staff of the District in 1985 as superintendent of recreation and first became involved with the Chamber in 1988 helping with their street dance and Halloween events. In 1991 he was elected to the Chamber Board and served two years as vice president and has remained active on the Board ever since. He has been active in many programs that the chamber has offered over the years including some that newer members would not be familiar including the street banner program, golf outing, business expo at the centennial celebration, chamber vs. park district softball game and Halloween parade. Steve believes that one of the biggest rewards of being involved with the Chamber has been meeting and working with so many great people and organizations.

Paula Schumacher - Village of Bartlett Representative

Assistant Village Administrator Paula Schumacher has served on the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce Board since 1993 in the position of Village Representative. Maintaining a strong and positive relationship between the Chamber and the Village is a goal of both organizations and one that Paula tries to foster through her work with the Chamber Board of Directors.
Over the years she has had the opportunity to be a part of many of the Chamber’s programs such as Summerfest, the Silent Auction and the Holiday Tree Lighting; but the best aspect of being involved in the Chamber of Commerce is meeting the fantastic people that make up this dynamic chamber.

Susan Westgate - Bartlett Library District Representative

Susan is the Assistant Director of the Bartlett Public Library District. She has been a Chamber Board representative since March 2006. As a Chamber Representative Susan has participated in a variety of Chamber activities; Tree Lighting Committee, Board Member of the Woman�s Business Council, Golf Outing volunteer and Scholarship judge. In addition, the library hosts all of the Chamber Board meetings through out the year. Susan has worked in public libraries for 18 years and is dedicated to promoting the library�s role and importance within a community as the place for information, recreation, growth and fulfillment of dreams.

Amy Feeley - President & CEO

Amy comes to the Chamber with over 25 years of business experience in advertising, marketing and sales. Most recently she was Senior Project Manager for a Fortune 500 software publisher. She has been a volunteer member and treasurer of Neighbors For Neighbors, a non-profit oranization that raises money for families in crisis, for 14 years. Amy and her husband, Mike, have lived in Bartlett for 18 years. They have three children.

Janice Caldrone - Vice President, Membership Development

Janice has been a resident of Bartlett for over 15 years. Along with a degree in Retail Management, Janice brings to the Chamber many years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising and adminstrative assistance. She has also been very active as a classroom volunteer at Wayne Elementary School. Janice is a local history buff, enjoys working out and stays busy raising her two sons.
